Recipe credits

Each recipe page keeps its original contributor credit when known, alongside a linked editorial byline. Our standard for an original recipe is development and testing by real cooks in a real kitchen, documented with the cooking date, ingredients, equipment and results. We do not apply that claim to an archived or adapted recipe without a verified cooking run. The Mara Ellison byline is a clearly disclosed fictional editorial persona, not a test record.

Tasty Recipes editorial team

The editorial team checks source records for ingredient and method completeness, credits, timing and corrections. When a recipe is developed or tested for this site, a real cook must prepare it in a real kitchen and record the outcome before we describe it as kitchen-tested. Source review alone is not cooking. The existing archive does not establish that every recipe was developed or tested by the team.
