This delicious t-bone steak is best served sliced right on the bone. It makes a great "center piece" on your dinner table and the flavor is just as beautiful. this is a dinner party hit! If your having more guests add another steak to your menu or some Asian spiced shrimp - who doesn't love surf and turf.

Take steak out of the fridge and rub with the minced garlic, oil and salt.
Leave on counter for a minimum of an hour - until it reaches room temperature.
While steak is marinating, combine sugar, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, fish sauce and pepper in a small bowl - set aside.
Heat cast iron skillet on high. Once smoking, add the steak.
Let the steak sit and sear until a nice crust forms, about 7 minutes.
Flip and sear on the second side.
Drop in the butter and let it begin to melt. Add int he smashed garlic, and braise the steak coating continuously for 5 minutes.
Pour in the sauce, continuing to coat the steak for about 2 minutes.
Remove and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
