This caramelized apple coffee cake is the perfect treat. It has a tasty butter base and it's filled with deliciously sweet caramelized apples, it will make your mouth water.

Peel and core apples
Cut apples into cubes
Heat butter and sugar in skillet over a medium/low heat for 2 Minutes until sugar dissolves completely
Add cubed apples and lemon juice to butter/brown sugar mixture and turn the heat up to medium. Let cook for 10 Minutes.
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of corn starch into 1 tablespoon of water
Add corn starch/water mixture to pan and stir until liquid thickens
Preheat oven to 310 degrees. Mix butter and sugar well.
Add eggs, beat well.
Dissolve baking soda in sour cream and add all together with eggs, butter and sugar.
Add all the dry ingredients into the mixture, combine thoroughly.
Put half the batter into the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and stir with a fork.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and add half or more of the apple mixture. Stir with a fork.
Add the rest of the mixture, and sprinkle some additional cinnamon sugar on top before baking for 35 Minutes.
