I use my kitchen aid mixer with the paddle attachment to make this dough. This is also a perfect crust for savoury dishes as well.

Sift flour and salt add butter into mixture and mix on low speed until size of lima beans
Add water a little at a time until mixture comes together – Don’t over mix.
Turn out dough onto floured surface and knead until it comes together – don’t over mix it will toughen the dough
Place in bowl with wet towel over top then in fridge to rest for 30min
Roll out and fill with your favourite filling.
