Figs with Goat Cheese, Pecans, Honey, Balsamic Vinegar and Mint

This dessert is quick, easy and delicious. Sometimes I like to buy the whole flat because I am a cook and I love figs.

 2 figs per person
 1 teaspoon goat cheese per fig
 2 tablespoons honey
 1/2 cup pecans
 5 mint leaves
 Balsamic drizzle

Set a small pan to med-low heat

Crush pecans and add to dry pan

Toast slightly

Add honey and warm until it bubbles

Turn off heat

Cross cut figs but not all the way through – about half way is good

Arrange on a platter – individually plated could work too

Push a tsp full of goat cheese into each fig

Spoon the honey pecan mixture over top of the figs

Thumb-drizzle balsamic vinegar over top – stay light it should be an accent only

Top with a little chopped mint
