This dessert is quick, easy and delicious. Sometimes I like to buy the whole flat because I am a cook and I love figs.

Set a small pan to med-low heat
Crush pecans and add to dry pan
Toast slightly
Add honey and warm until it bubbles
Turn off heat
Cross cut figs but not all the way through – about half way is good
Arrange on a platter – individually plated could work too
Push a tsp full of goat cheese into each fig
Spoon the honey pecan mixture over top of the figs
Thumb-drizzle balsamic vinegar over top – stay light it should be an accent only
Top with a little chopped mint
